So an unexpectedly high number of churchrunners at Brighton Marathon – Sutton Christian Centre had father and daughter Ric and Bethany Adams running. I note the person wearing the yellow headband isn’t Ric.

For Chiltern Church Runners it was just me (sunglasses ‘windswept’ hair) – photo taken as I was about to cramp badly 500m short of the line, but hobbled, then ran to make it!

Emmanuel represented by Ron West who pulled a muscle by his ribs at about 20 miles – but still kept going and again finished.

The big contingent though was Cornerstone Fit; Laura Watters, Gordon Watson, Lizzy Woolley, Bola Mogaji, Kirstie Winwood, Mathew Nicholls, Laura Faturoti – impressive turn out.

Times not as important as finishing – but in case you were curious – Bethany Adams with 3 hrs 46 and change was the quickest of us. Both she and Gordon, that I know of, have London to come in 2 weeks – good luck with that.
